Rainout Policy for Pleasanton Little League



Rain outs are, sadly, a part of every Spring season here in Pleasanton.  As a reminder, field closures are controlled by the Pleasanton Parks Department.  No PLL activities will be permitted when the City has closed the fields.  The City will typically update the Field Availability webpage (https://www.cityofpleasantonca.gov/gov/depts/cs/sports/field.asp) and phone recording (925-931-5360) by 3PM on weekdays and 7AM on Saturdays.



The following is the league policy regarding the rescheduling of rained out games for the 2020 PLL Season:
  • All Majors games are rescheduled (excluding Preseason)
  • AAA and AA (Levels with Standings) - Rain outs that impact the entire Saturday schedule of games will be permanently cancelled.  Rain outs that affect weekdays (and partial Saturdays) will be rescheduled by the League.  Partial Saturdays will be defined as Saturdays where the first game of the day is completed to count toward standings.
  • Single A, Farm and T-Ball - Rain outs will not be rescheduled by the League. Managers for the affected teams may reschedule at their own discretion, based on team and field ability.
