Tournament Teams

In addition to the All Star teams, each year PLL selects Tournament Teams for each age group from 9-12.
These teams are comprised of age appropriate selections, and will compete in similar All Star style tournaments against other Tournament Teams.  They do not play in the same tournaments as the D57 All Star teams.

Selection for these teams is done exclusively by the Managers at the same meeting where they complete the All Star rosters.
The Majors managers select the 11 and 12 year old teams, and the AAA Managers select the 9 and 10 year old teams.
The 9B tournament team typically consists of AA players and AA Managers will provide input into the formulation of that team.

Manager Selection

The All Star and Tournament Team Managers will be selected by the Pleasanton Little League Board of Directors.
Any Manager or Coach interested in applying for these positions will be interviewed by a panel of BoD members.
This panel will relay the information from the interviews to the BoD at a closed door meeting.
The BoD will then vote and select Managers for each team.
Any BoD member who applies for an All Star Manager position will recuse him/her self from the Manager voting process of that age level.
