Fall Ball Registration Now Open

Dear PLL Families,

After a tremendous response to our Fall Ball survey, we are excited to announce that we have opened registration for a modified program starting in early October and running through mid-November for our T-ball through Majors divisions*. The modified program will consist of teams of up to 14 players that will meet 1-2 times per week for practices. The practices will include training drills, conditioning, and inter-squad scrimmages.

We will be following the direction of the City of Pleasanton as well as the Alameda County Public Health Department guidelines for safety. These include:

  • Stable cohort of 14 participants plus two supervising adults

  • Cohort must be stable for at least three weeks

  • Participants and supervising adults may only be part of one cohort

  • Outdoor use only

  • Six feet distance, to the extent feasible

  • Limit sharing of equipment, disinfect after use

  • Participants 2+ years shall wear face coverings, to the extent feasible

  • All adults must wear face coverings at all times

  • No mixing of cohorts

There will be no games\scrimmages allowed between different teams.

The registration fee for the Fall Ball program is $35, which covers:

  • the cost of supplies needed to run the program (baseballs, a first-aid kit, and hand sanitizer for each team).

  • a PLL-branded gaiter (face covering) for all participants/managers.

Players will be asked to sanitize their hands upon arrival to practice, and in between activities (where appropriate). Parents are asked to drop off their players and limit contact with other families\coaches, and are asked to observe practices from their vehicles, or from beyond the outfield areas. Parents should not enter the field or dugouts, nor sit in the bleacher areas of the fields.

We are excited to give our players and families the opportunity to get outside and be active, while also maintaining a high-level of safety for everyone. As we’ve seen over the past several months, health orders and guidance can change, and we will adjust as needed throughout the program.
